Registration: The deadline for Christmas in New Mexico Show is August 1, 2008. Full registration fee is due upon registration unless other arrangements have been made. Visa/Master cards are accepted.

REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION: You will receive either an e-mail or post card in the mail confirming your acceptance and registration for the show. This e-mail or post card is your receipt for your records. If you do not receive a confirmation card within two weeks of sending in your registration, please call to confirm receipt. If for any reason your registration is not accepted, your entry fee will be returned to you promptly.
SET UP : Thursday, November 20, 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m.
You must check in for set up by 5:00 p.m. on set-up day or your space may be given to another exhibitor. Exhibitors are not allowed to start packing up or taking down their displays until the show closes on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. For more detailed information on set up, see the following page titled “Set Up Information.”
PHOTOGRAPHS: If you have not participated in a Zia Arts & Crafts Festival in the past, or you have a new product line, photographs of your work must be received with your registration. Photographs will not be returned.
STATE SALES TAX: Exhibitors are individually responsible for paying their state sales tax. You will receive a tax packet prepared by the State of New Mexico for your use. Please read the cover page and follow the directions. You may contact the state sales tax office at 505-841-6200 for additional information.
CANCELLATIONS: Refunds on cancellations will not be honored beyond four weeks prior to each show, regardless of when you have registered. Refund cut-off date is October 20, 2008.
DISPLAYS : All spaces for the Christmas in New Mexico Show will be draped with an eight-foot high (red and turquoise) backdrop. In-line spaces will have three-foot high side drapes; corner spaces located in a quad (two spaces back to back) will have two eight-foot high drapes with two open sides. You will also receive a custom-made business sign that hangs at the top of your backdrop. Exhibitors are responsible for providing all of their own display equipment including tables, chairs, lights, pegboards, extension cords, etc. For rental information of tables, pegboards, or any other accessory rental see the enclosed Disco Display House Exhibitor’s Rental/Service Order Form. No nails, screws or tape may be used on any walls or structures that are not a part of your own display. All tables must be draped or skirted to the floor; “ Sale” signs are allowed to be posted. Please make every effort to create an attractive, professionallooking display and keep in mind the flow of customers in and out of your area.

ELECTRICITY: There is a base rate of $29 for 5 amps or 500 watts of plug-in electricity. Please refer to the Exhibitor’s Rental/Service Order Form. If you are ordering electricity, you must fill out the enclosed Disco Display House Inc., Exhibitor’s Rental/Service Order Form and mail it to them separately. Leave Booth Number blank on the Order Form, we will provide your booth number to them at a later date.
FOOD PRODUCTS SAMPLING: If you are sampling food products of any kind, it is your responsibility to make sure you have the proper certification with the Environmental Department of New Mexico. You may contact Jonathan Gearhardt at 505-222-9515 for this certificate. Allow at least two weeks before the show for processing the paperwork.
SECURITY: A Security Officer will be on duty inside the building while the show is closed.
SPACE ASSIGNMENTS : You will receive your space assignment when you arrive for set-up. Enclosed is a proposed, not final, floor plan that is subject to change without notice. You may select four spaces of your choice and record them on your Registration Form. However, your space will be assigned by and at the discretion of the promoter.
RV PARKING ON FAIRGROUNDS: Over night RV parking is available on the grounds with water and electrical hook ups for a fee. You may contact Expo New Mexico at 505-265-1791 for information on cost and to make your reservation.
VIDEOTAPING/PHOTOGRAPHS: If you and/or your merchandise are videotaped or photographed for the purpose of producing television commercials and advertising for on-going shows, Zia Arts & Crafts Festival has your permission and consent to use such videotape and photographs.
RISK & LIABILITY: Zia Arts & Crafts Festival and Expo New Mexico are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of exhibitor’s merchandise or display equipment. The exhibitor agrees to hold harmless the Zia Arts & Crafts Festival and Expo New Mexico and any of its employees from any damage or loss to exhibitor's property or any personal injury he/she may sustain during the show. Zia Arts and Crafts Festival reserves the right to cancel the show due to Acts of God, weather, or unforeseen events out of the promoter’s control, in which case the promoter will not be liable for refunds or other liabilities.
